If by some miracle of god this somehow goes for somewhere in the neighborhood of $1300 and I can get reasonable shipping, this will end up in my garage. My hope is no one will be searching for it so no one will bid.

P.S. Please please please don't lecture me on the dangers of buying a flood damaged car (eg. wiring), because I know, and the car would not be for repair or daily driving. Lets just say my intentions are a bit Jay-Z like but with more profit and way more awesome ;).

My thought was more strip the body, sell the parts, keep the badass interior, have a roll cage welded in and have a 2500 lbs (if I'm lucky) V12 auto cross car. Oh, and add red harnesses to the seats.

Hell yes, I'd pay to see that one.
...or a GL450 Dakar entry

If you are anywhere near Portland I'll go part owner, and help out with the build.
That's assuming of course I see a lot of time behind the wheel.

For a car like that for $1300, who cares. Buy it if you can.

I bid $5000

If you get that for $1300, you can sell it on to a Maybach scrapper - if one exists yet - or part it out yourself over time for ten or twenty times what you'll have paid for it.
